The reason I ask is that I got a new job and have to move and am looking for an apartment. Right now, both my FH and I live at home. I have no problem with people living together before their married...but my parents do, and would be PISSED if we moved in together. However, it seems to make sense, that way we could save a lot of money...I understant what my parents are saying, but I am 26 years old and think I am old enough to make my own decisions, but I want to repect my parents too....Ughhh, sorry for the vent...

We both live at home right now and are going to until we get married. FH doesn't want to live together before marriage, and his mom really doesn't want us to either, but it it was a better choice, we probably would. However, if we were in your situation, I would probably just move in together.

We want to-we are looking for a house now we'll settle for an apartment but we are trying to wait till prices go down a little. But otherwise we would love to live together-my dad offered to build onto our house so we could live there rent free! He would love to have my two older brothers and me live at home forever.

We offically don;t. My mom would not be happy. I live at home ,but FH has an apartment 1.5 miles from my job ( my parents house is 20 miles). So I stay with him a lot even though I don;t officialy live there.

me and my FH just moved in together just about a month ago. our familes thought it would be best to live together 1st to see how it is. and things couldnt be any better!

I WISH!!! FH goes to med school in brooklyn and I am finishing up school at Hofstra so we can't leave together or else we would be already! ...we have to wait until we get married...he actually graduates 3 days before we get married!

we basically are...
officially, we both live at home with our respective parents... but he eats dinner at my house every night and sleeps over almost every night... so we pretty much live together! my parents love him and would have no problem if we wanted to move in together, but we want to save money for now!

I do not live with FH right now, but I don't see anything wrong with living together before marriage
fh and i live together we actually own a house together. we been livng with each other since nov of 05. we got enaged after living together in may of 06.
