I did 2 sets of cocktail napkins only....one set of 50 or 100...)I can't remember) in white with a purple foil design and periwinkle with a silver design....they are awesome!

We didn't have either. I wanted them but DH said he didn't and he won that battle. It was not noticeable at all that they were missing.

See I like both Matchbooks and Napkins. But do people even notice this?

we did neither.

it was one of those things we said we would do, but in the last minute crunch and with $$ flying out the door, we decided to pass. we didnt' miss them at all, and i am glad we saved the money.

I don't think people will notice. I ordered matchboxes just because we are having votives on the tables and figured they would be handy. It was $37 for 50 boxes, so not a big deal as far as I'm concerned.

Also my work friends who are invited are smokers forever in need of matches and I think it'll be cool if they snatch a bunch!! I know, I'm silly!

we got 100 cocktail napkins for the bar during cocktail hour, 100 fignertip towels for the restrooms, and 100 take home bags for the viennese. They were all monogrammed in our colours. They were not necessary, but the guests really liked them & it was the little details that impressed

We bought monogrammed napkins for the cocktail hour with a maple leaf in burgandy on them for our fall theme.

We're doing both - our facility does not allow smoking indoors but we have the cocktail deck outside with a bar so I know people will smoke, as for the napkins I want them at the bar and during the cocktail hour, inside the banquet room is uncessary their are napkins on the table and as for the bathroom no - there are enough paper products in there
