For me i gave soemoptions & he purchased what he wanted. Good taste this one on my finger was my fav! lol

My FH designed my whole ring! We never went ring shopping...but I knew he has good taste! I LOVE IT!!![]()

I told him the cut of the stone I liked but he did everything himself.....we never even looked at rings so he had no idea of what i wanted

FH and I looked at rings and he wanted to get me something with side stones and all diamonds on the band and I like the solitaire the best so I gave him choices of what shape diamond princess round or cushion and the rest was up to him! He picked out a gorgeous ring!![]()

I told him what type of cut I wanted.... I got to pick out the setting...but I didn't see the center stone until he proposed!

We went looking a few times so he had a general idea of what I liked, but then he went out and designed his own and I couldn't have picked out a better one myself! ![]()

He picked it out on his own...then brought his parents to look at it. I love it!

My grandma said i could use one from the family, either hers or my great great aunts and i liked hers so much and i said 'thats my ring, thats what i want' and i had let fh know this so he asked my grandma for it (without me knowing) and got it sized and cleaned up so thats my ring! He even had it appraised b/c we had no idea how much it was even worth ( because its from the 50's) and its worth WAY more than what we would have even spent so we got lucky!

i had no idea he was going to propose....for me, it takes away from the excitement and surprise of getting proposed to if i already know hes going to do it...all i did was give hints here and there for yearsss of what kind of ring i like![]()

He had got me a ring for Vday, and I had just mention that i wanted it similar to that.......But he picked it out all by himself....and did a beautiful job.....

I told him that I wanted a cushion and we learned about diamonds together online and then one day he asked me if i liked oval better than cushion... he really meesed with my head and then he totoally suprised me and got me exactly what i wanted and the funny thing is i could never find a picture of a plain cushion with a skinny band but he made it and its perfect and my band is from tiffanys![]()

I sent him a link to one that I liked on blue nile. He went to a few places to see if they could duplicate it and they couldn't do it exactly. So he ordered it from blue nile-so basically I picked it out.
