but i need your help!!! Right now my Fi and I are having a hard time choosing between Duet or 12th night for photography. This is one thing that is very important to me so what do you girls think -Duet? Or 12th Night? This is so hard they are both so good!!! Opinions please!!

i didn't vote because i don't think you can go wrong with either one. we were torn between them too and chose duet because we thought it'd be easier to have one person for photo and video, and for what we wanted, their price was a bit better too. but honestly, i loved dom's work and duet's equally, so really, i truly believe you can't go wrong here.

Well you know who I voted for.
I have yet to hear a 12th Night bride complain of missed shots (OK, so some were missed for mine but all the 'important' ones were there)...as amazing as Duet is it seems that it's 'hit or miss' based on the photographer you get. Their work, when good, is amazing...but speak to past brides if you want to go with either since they'll be able to tell you what 'went wrong' with their day and how to make sure it doesn't happen to you.
In the end, it also comes out to 'albums paid for now or done later'. We chose to take the huge savings now and do albums later since technology is always improving.

this is why we chose 12th night. they aren't as popular on these boards as they should be, IMO, but Dom and his team do excellent work. I have YET to hear even one little bad thing about them, and so far my experience has been fantastic.
it comes down to who you are comfortable with. A lot of girls on here go with Duet. I never looked at them, but they get good reviews too.

Forget prices...this is all you'll have after the wedding is over. Go based on who's work YOU like more and which photographer YOU feel most comfortable with. You will spend ALL DAY with this person!

Hello!
My cousin had twelfth night as a photographer. I can't even tell you how beautiful the photos are. They were relatively inexpensive, gave her all of the proofs to keep, and quickly returned her album...and her pictures are absolutely GORGEOUS...I'm getting them also.

I am using duet so yes I am partial HOWEVER I havent read a bad thing about them either, I saw all the albums and EACH are WONDERFUL! BUT you need to specify what you are looking for cause some photographers are more photojournalistic than others..depends on what you are looking for NOT one better than the other...its preference! Go with your gut and go with who YOU want... both are similar in price so I dont think thats an issue at least good luck!
