How many of us still keep in contact with childhood buddies and/or High School friends?

I am in touch with 2 people from grammer school or before, 3 or 4 from HS (and through them about 5 others) and one person from college.

I keep in touch with one friend from my childhood. She used to live around the corner from me, so it was easier to remain close.

And I keep in touch with a handful of people from college (all crew team buddies.) I'm the MOH for one college friend and two are in my bridal party.

I have three friends I've known since i was 3 or 4, about 2 from grammar school, one from high school and a few from college.

I'm still friends with my oldest friend (from when we were 2/3 years old). Our mom's are good friends and we grew up together in the same school system. I'm still best friends with my grade school best friend (from 12 years old). I have high school graaduate acquaintance that I still keep in touch with and my 'crew' is all from high school (different schools and grades).

I am still best friends with my best friend since kindergarten.

My 2 best friends from high school Maila and Karen. Maila works with me in the same department in my company. Karen was my MOH and Maila a BM for my wedding.

I actually lost touch with my BF friend from HS and we reconnected with the power of the internet 10 years later(this was baout 3 years ago).The Weird thing is that both our Husbands are named Mitch and they have the same birthday....really creepy..

I have 2 REALLY close friends since I was about 7. And we still talk. But alot of the other people I hung out with in High School. I have all these photos of people I haven't talked to in almost 10 years! It's kinda of sad once you think about it!

I am very close with four friends from grammer school. I talk to all of them at least once a week and they are all in my wedding. They are like sisters!!!! I love them sooooooo much. They have been with me through everything, from the first bra to planning my wedding.

My MOH and I were baptized together! And several of my friends I went to Kindergarten with. The majority of the rest of my friends are from High School.

My 2 closest friends are from elementary school - I think we'll always stay close...we've been together for so long!

I've been best friends with the same girl since 4th grade. There are a few others that I still keep in touch with from HS or beyond too though.

I really don't keep in touch from my friends in high school. However, my brother still lives in my hometown and bumps into people every now and then, so he keeps me updated with the gossip!

I stay in touch with my very first friend - when we were a year old, she used to cry to be lifted over the fence into our yard to play - she came from Baltimore to the wedding. One of my other close friends - from around kindergarten age, was my MOH, and my other bridesmaids were one from High School and another from after college - when I lived in Manhattan (hubby and I introduced her to a good friend of his, and they got married way before we did!) I keep in touch via Christmas Cards with several friends from grade school, and a few from college.

I have only stayed in contact with one of my friends from high school but it proves that she was my only real friend. I am proud to have her with me throughout my wedding planning. As far as college I have many because I was in sorority. Many of them I see on a regualr basis and are also having a huge part in helping me prepare for the big day, but the others I see sparatically. It is going to be fun for us to all be under one roof the night of my wedding just like old times! Boy did we have some fun times and crazy memories LOL...I'm so excited just thinking about it.

I still keep in touch with 2 girls that lived in my neighborhood...

but my best friend is still my best friend from hs...

it will be interesting to see who I see in nov at my 10 YEAR REUINION!! ugh...getting old...officially

My very best friend, since I was 4 and she was 3, is still my very best friend, even though she lives 2,000 miles away (she is in FL since 1987). I was her maid of honor when she got married in 1998 and she was my matron of honor when I got married in May. I am also the godmother to her son. We were inseparable until she moved with her parents to FL - but we have remained close since then.

I also have 3 best friends from High School. We have all done the rounds in each others weddings. We attended our 10-year HS reunion in 2000 and it was like things never changed. We speak often and do a Girls Night Out every other month.

But my best friend in FL is the closest friend I've got!!

I have two friends from kindergarten, and six from jr. high, we are all still very close and try to get together monthly.. It is wonderful, four of them are in my wedding party, it was so hard not to put all 8 in but that left no room for family..
