So we did a personal wedding website and so many of our family and friends keep going on and on about how much they love it and how it's got great info, funny pics, etc...
I thought most people nowadays did them, so I was just curious how many of you did them...

I did one on weddingchannel.com, and even printed labels to put in my e-party thank you cards. NOT ONE PERSON went to it! I was so bummed! I feel like it was a waste to even do .

I gave out web address to my friends and family on the E-party cards for people to look at it. I have one on the knot and another one here. I like LIWs better.

I wasn't sure if people would go or not but at least 30 of our friends/family have gone already and we just finished it yesterday. I can't believe no one went!! I'm FMing you I want to go

We did one and included the web address when we mailed out our STDs. There is a lot of helpful info on the site (like telling our guests to wear comfortable shoes to the ceremony because of the stairs) and OOT hotel info.

I designed my own website years ago and posted some details and pictures there. But I realized that I don't want everyone knowing all the details because I think it detracts from the day. So I stopped posting wedding related things.
I have a few relatives who visit my site to see pictures of the family, updates, etc already. I know it can be tough to put so much time and effort into something and not get any visitors. I'm sorry.

I have one - I announced it in a mass email to all of our family and friends, and we got some really positive feedback.
Family members still tell me they check it every week or so, to see if there were any updates :-d
I use weddingannoucer.com. Its free, really easy, and more detailed than the knot or wedding channel.
We did one on the Knot when we first got engaged. We mailed the link along with our STD magnets. It was nice and fun to do at the time.

I started one up on LIW before we really did any planning, it was fun to do the Introduction pages. Then as we started getting the wedding stuff underway I've been updating it. I love it when people sign our guest book so I sent out the address on our STD magnets and I'm also going to include it on the back of our programs.

That's cool - I didn't think to do a guestbook - I was just going by my hosting company webstats - thanks for the great idea!!
