So, the photographer I REALLY want is of course the most expensive. Not that this will give me more money for my budget but can you guys tell me how much you're paying for photo? If you're getting a photo/video package, maybe try and figure about how much of it is photo (probably 2/3)?

I paid about $6300 for two photogs (traditional color & photojournalist & two assts) for 10 hours and includes a $4500 credit to be used for my albums, TY's, prints, etc ...

2495 for 9 hours of coverage with an assistant, this is black and white and color. Albums start at 500. All proofs are yours.

$1000 for eight hours, all the black and white and color pics and prints are yours plus a DVD set to music with the pictures on it (kind of like a slow moving video). But we are not doing an album at this point, which makes it a lot less expensive. There are a lot of affordable photographers out there...check out Silverfox and Twelfth Night if you haven't already...

Those are the last 2 on the list! But I can't get in touch with them until tomorrow so we probably won't be able to meet with them until next week sometime.

I am using Silverfox, and the prices may have increased for 2005, but I am paying about $3600, for 2 photographers (one trad, color, 1 photojourn, b&w) an assistant, 1, 30 image reversable album, 2, 16 image reversable parent albums. & 75 thank you pics.
I would say they are mid -price range & I think they are definitely worth a visit.
They are open late weeknights, which was convienent for us.
