I am forced too.. My ceremony isnt until 7pm and by that time it will be too dark.. Oh well..

We are definately doing them before the ceremony...we're actually all getting ready at our house...the guys and the girls. It'll be like one big party!

Of course, FI won't see me until I'm in full blown princess...I mean bridal attire!

We are. Our ceremony is at 11:30 also with our cocktail hour immediately following. We're starting to take our pictures at 9 am.

FH said NO way was he taking any chances! Hes so funny sometimes!

We are not...FH doesn't want to. Our ceremony is at 11:30 and CH immediately following. We will not be at most of the CH. Photographer said he would try to get us there for the last 15-20 minutes. We will do all the family pictures with the girls before, so there will only be FH and myself and parents etc to do during CH.

I am not, we are getting dressed in 2 different boroughs so it would be kinda hard. I am, a bit old fashioned I don't think it is good luck. We scheduled everything nicely so we have about 1 1/2 between the reception and the ceremony.

Our cocktail hour starts right after the ceremony, but we will both have our own separate pictures done before hand, and then during the cocktail hour, we will have our pictures together taken, they will bring the cockatil hour to us in the chapel, so we wont miss out on the food, I just dont want to see him until Im about to sya my vows. Just my personal preference...

We are not doing this. Although I understand why many people do, I want to have that first look when my FH sees me walking down tha aisle.....just my personal preference.

We aren't, just because the timing between the church and the hall worked out for us in that respect; but if the tables were turned, I'd have no problem doing them before hand.

We have a small wedding party so pictures won't take long so we will still be able to get in to the cocktail hour. I want to see his face when he sees me for the first time when I walk down the aisle all princessed up

We are not going to take pics before the ceremony...guess I'm old fashioned..don't want FH to see me until I make my grand entrance with dad

we are taking pictures before the ceremony. our ceremony starts at 6pm and even though we can go to the NRC at 5:15pm, we still need to sign the ketubah. so it doesnt leave us much time. i was originally against this idea, but it makes sense. plus we booked an amazing photographer and i want tons of pics. we will most likely go to the old westbury gardens for pics. the video guy is going to come there to get my fh's reaction to me on video. i know now this is the best decision.

Ceremony at 11:30 & CH immed. following, so we are doing pics at 9, like Junebride. We figure we can tackle a superstition. Although we are getting dressed separately & won't see each other that day until picture time

I am not because I want FI to see me walking down the aisle first. However, you have to do what you feel is right for you. There are a lot of advantages to taking pictures first! It makes the rest of the wedding much more relaxing!
