lol it kinda makes me laugh to ask this but FH is insisting on putting our dog in the epics
i dont really mind, i just figure that it will be a distraction for me, since im already nervous about them. we are taking them in gantry state park if that makes a difference.
is it a cute idea or dumb?

yes! i think its cute!
def take some with the dog and then some without...so maybe u can ask someone to go with you and hold the dog while ur taking the pics without him in it.

I think that's a great idea! I do agree that you might want to take someone along with you to keep watch of your dog so you can take some pics without him/her. (And maybe have that person be like a friend who isn't into the whole wedding thing, so they don't get involved at all with the pics...you're nervous enough, ya know? Maybe one of your FH's friends who could care less about e-pics, LOL!)

i personally am not a fan of this idea..engagement pics are to celebrate the engaged couple...dogs arent a part of that but that is just my opinion.. BUT if you do take a dog i suggest bringing along someone who can hold the dogs leash while you take pics without the dog

Why not?! If you want your dog there and in some of the pictures that is cute....my friend's STD and favors were picsof her dogs in a tux and a wedding dress.

I definitely am.
I love my dog...even more than FH sometimes Although both love me unconditionally, the dog doesn't leave stuff all around the house!

Convinced DH to allow our puppy in some of our wedding pics Our epics are in the city so no puppy, but wanted her in our wedding pics. She's like our child!

I've seen e-pics with a couple's dog somewhere. I don't see anything wrong with it. If your dog is an important part of your life, why not.

Okay, FH and I did our epics and the photog (Patken) said we can come in any time from then until about 2 weeks after the wedding for a photo shoot with our dogs. (GSD and Boxer) I still haven't ordered their tuxes yet but it's on the to do list. I will probably use the summer to take care of this task. Their pics will be encorporated into our album. They are our 'furry babies' and the story of our lives would not be complete without them.
