FI and I are big animal lovers. We have a dog and two cats. Our dog, Sophie, already made an appearance on our STD cards. But should she attend our the ceremony?
Here are the facts:
We are getting married by a priest and a rabbi outside at Oheka. My sister, the MOH, already offered to walk Sophie down the aisle. I could also have my little cousins do it too.
I could get a dog sitter to be responsible for her for before the ceremony. After the ceremony, this person can bring her home for the night.
Sophie doesn't jump on people and is pretty well behaved. She might let out a howl a time or two during the ceremony, but it would be more cute than annoying.
Do you think I am crazy having this beautiful wedding and then having this mutt attend? Or should I go for it?
FI is flexible either way.

I wanted my dog to attend my ceremony also. It is outside at the same place as the reception. The problem is, everyone that I would trust to bring him there and bring him home will be at the wedding! If I had a reliable pet sitter like you do he would definately be there. But I am buying him a doggie tux and taking pictures with him before. A lot of people think I'm crazy, but I have had him since I was 11 years old. If Sophie is really important to you and you have someone reliable and trustworthy to take her home then why not?

yes, yes, yes!!!!! We are trying to figure out a way to include our 'bailey girl' in our wedding. We are getting married in a church, so i guess flower girl is out , but we definitely want to take picture's with her!!!!
