Poll-Spinoff to bedding... how much was your bedding?

FI and I are having trouble here... the set I want is expensive, therefore making him feel guilty. About how much did your bedding cost?

i am so in the same boat as you. the bedding set we want is expensive, to us. its not something we'd spend out $$ on, so why should we make others

bottom line is, people will buy it for you. try not to feel guilty about it

I didn't add it all up- but I bet over $500 for everything

I am not expecting one person to buy it all-

but my opnion of regirstring is you should registry for something better then you would normally buy for yourself

Our comforter set was $199.
The extra pillows are $50-$90 each.
The sheets I think are $70.

Register for what you like... you will get it! We got our comforter set as an engagement gift!!!

my parents got it for us last x-mas, but comforter, shams, dust ruffle, and 1 set of sheets, $250. It was discontinued, so it was reduced from $550 at Bloomies. YIPPIE!

THE DUVET SET I REGISTERED FOR IN TARGET WAS $100 AND THE 600 THREAD COUNT SHEETS WERE $100. ITS PLAIN WHITE. WE ALSO REGISTERED FOR A $125 FEATHERBED AND A NEW DOWN COMFORTER AND DOWN PILLOWS. ALSO SHAMS AND A BEDSKIRT. SO PROBABLY OVER $500.
GET WHAT YOU WANT!!

Alot - we both love to sleep so it is SO worth it. We got the Hotel Collection Primaloft down alternative comforter on sale for $179 - and two of the pillows (forget price). We still need to get the duvet cover for the comforter, sheets, pillow cases. UGH - thank goodness for registries!

Sheet set 120
pillows i got aprox 5 accent pillows i didnt think i would get them all but i did!!!they were about 35$ each

aprox 550$

my mom bought me my comforter set for my shower amonst other things
and my dad and his wife bought the rest

so it was split!

I didn't register yet, but we plan on getting a King Bed and I like my sheets really soft so I'm going to have to get a full cotton blend with high thread count, so we're talking a lot of money.

dont feel bad,,usually people will go in together or your bridal party will get it for ya (thats what mine did)..my entire comforter set with all the accent pillows,bed skirt, sheets/etc came to I believe a little over 500 bucks,,,I also registered for the matching bench...and got it too!!!
