We got to decide on the upgrades for the reception tonight at the final meeting. I can get a sushi station during the cocktail hour. I heard that it is good sushi...so I am not concerned with the quality. They charge $10 extra pp. Personally, I don't really like sushi but I know that it is a huge hit. If you went to a wedding would you eat it? I know that it is not necessary, but do you think it would be appreciated?
Yes I would because I am a sushi freak. I went to a wedding in NJ last year and they rolled it fresh right in front of you. It was a hit at that wedding.
Sushi all the way. I had it at mine and they couldn't make it fast enough!
We had it and people STILL mention it from the cocktail hour. Lots of people who don't eat sushi tried it for the first time and many sushi aficianados told us it was of wonderful quality. Do it.
Went to a wedding a Girgios awhile back. They had it but it was not very good and it was not a whole lot.....at 10pp i would not go for it...but i think it depends on where you are having it. That was the only CH i went to that had it.
I don't eat it but I think that if you can splurge, do it! There was one at a wedding I went to a few weeks ago and the line never went down, everyone was so excited for it!
I LOVE sushi! Definitely go for it. Are they just going to have it as a serve yourself display or is the chef making it in front of the guests? In front of the guests is so great!
I personally would LOVE a sushi station at a wedding -- I vote yes.
I dont eat sushi but we decided to have it for something different. Everyone ate it - I was so surprised. They were all raving about it so it was definitely a hit - I say go for it!

I looooooooove sushi...I agree that if you can afford the extra $10 than go for it!
I LOVE sushi, and I'm excited that our CH has it included. I would go for it, but $10 extra pp does seem like a lot.
We had sushi at our CH and it was a huge hit. I don't eat it but apparently lots of other people do. If having it made in front of the guests is too expensive, see if they will just do it as a display - much less expensive (only a couple hundred per display).
