Mine is at a place somewhere in between (just how I wanted it) at a bar/restaurant. I defintely didn't want anything too fancy; just a fun atmosphere type place!

We had a surprise one. It was at the Bellport Country Club. It was amazing. What a beautiful place. Everyone dressed pretty casual (khaki's for men, slacks or skirts for the women).

it was at a hall, catered by an outside company. but we kept it casual so everyone could relax. i was still really nervous though. it was very strange that all those people were there for us!

Ours was 'fancy'. Majority of our guests were pretty dressed up, a few guys wore khakis.

We had ours in the room at a firehouse it was nice but not wedding nice. causual dress. it was perfect.

Mine is more of a casual feel. It is in a hall that we rented on the water but we are making the food ourself with about 125 people.

we are paying for it ourselves, & keeping it simple. it'll be a local Lodge.
We saw no need to make it extravigant/fancy, that is what the wedding is for. We wanted it to be a time to celebrate and gather everyone.
I wanted to see if E-partys in NY have become as crazy as weddings.

Some defenitly have but like you I dont see the point, if you are going to pay that much for an e-party just take that money and put it towards a wedding.

Sorta both. It was at a pretty fancy hall, but it was in the afternoon and dress was casual, with buffet .

Mine was casual- tent in my parent's backyard. It was perfect! Except for the RAIN!! But we all still had a good time!

Ours was at a hall- Timber Point CC. We kept it casual so that it would be more laid back and relaxing (sundresses/skirts for the ladies, dockers/collared shirts for the men.) It was beautiful!
