We put the exact time. Just b/c we put ourselves in the situation, and we're always on time, and would be p1ssed off if we arrived and had to wait around for a half an hour.
I agree, put the exact time.

Re: Poll: time
We're putting 15 mins ahead of time, just want everyone to be there on time and since it's a lil hard to find the extra time will give our guests some leeway. Plus our ceremony is at the hall so we're on a pretty tight schedule. That's just a thought, I think a half hour might be too much time to leave punctual guests sitting.

Re: Poll: time
I put 30 minutes before. My guess will be served wine before hand. We also have the trumpets there as well. My family is always late so i had to do that.

Re: Poll: time
It depends on your hall. Ours said not to do an earlier time because the previous wedding may still be saying their goodbyes.

Re: Poll: time
We did 1/2 before. My hall told me to do that. We'll have a champagne cart and music while people are coming in. So, maybe I'll have a room full of people drunk on champagne for my ceremony!

Re: Poll: time
We are getting married at the hall and champagne will be served for 1/2 hour before the ceremony. So I am puttin 12 down and cermeony will prob start at 12:30.

Re: Poll: time
its pretty much half and half...
couple things to think about,
how is the rest of the day timed? afternoon or eveing cermeony) same place (church and reception?) what day of the week (friday during rush hour?) are your families members the ones to be on time? alot of out of town guest?
ive been to both weddings that started excatly on time and delayed 30 mins (on purpose)
both have there own strengths but it really depends on other things

Re: Poll: time
My invites will say 15 minutes before the ceremony actually starts. I asked my hall to set our start time at 7:45 instead of the usual 7:30 because I have some family members that tend to be late.

Re: Poll: time
I'm getting married at a Church and believe me no one wants to sit around at the Church for an extra 1/2 hour waiting for the bride to arrive...
