Its seems all the ones I like are expensive.

This is the one thing I am the most picky about.

how much you looking to spend?

I'm not sure, probably not more than $3500, if that's realistic for what I want. I didn't realize photography is the second msot expensive thing besides the hall.

I don't realy need 2 photographers, but I like the mix of photojournalistic & traditional and B& W & color.
So a lot of places send 2 people for that.
And I want a digital album, which I know adds more$.

We are using Glen Mar, we heard about them through our friends, they used them and we loved their work as well as the Coffee Table Album......

Does Glen Mar have a website?

I chose Patken because i love Doug's non traditional style and he made us feel so comfortable immediately, plus he uses mostly digital pictures

i used creative digital studio for my video and they are amazing. i already have my raw footage dvds and i cant stop looking at it. they are so personable and professional. i dont think they are expensive and they have different packages for everyones budget. i had them make a memorial for my dad and they did an amazing job. you can view it in my review.

Patken is right up your alley. you may want to pay them a visit. Your in the price range for patken minus the Digital album but you know it cost more so that will be your difference.

They send 1 person out (takes both shots)
There photographers are great in takeing more shots with less people (hence the 1 person but doing b/w and color)

I'm using Sherwood Triart.

We met with Earl & spent about 2 hours there looking at their work & talking about what we wanted our album to reflect of our day.

I loved the work I saw and really felt comfortable with both him & Mike. Absolutely loved the Soho book! The quality, clarity & color of their photos were amazing.

I had met with 2 other photographers on the list above and I didn't care for the quality of the album of one and the other, TERRIBLE CUSTOMER RELATIONS!!! My FH & I were kept waiting for about 15 minutes, then we were put into a room, he put on a video, handed us a few albums & WALKED OUT!!! He came back about 15 minutes later & asked us if we had any questions. Only one...where's the door!

Whoever you do choose, make sure it's the quality you want in your price range, & FEEL COMFORTABLE with them. You are putting a great deal of trust in them & you need to know you're making the right decision.

ETA: DON'T FORGET! Whoever you're interested in, check them out on the Better Business Bureau website! (the photographer who I mentioned above, surprise! 4 complaints in the last year)

Twelfth Night for photography for all reasons the others said. I also like that it includes two photographers, both of whom use digital cameras and do the photojournalistic photos, and then one has the large format and the other the black and white and color 35mm. Their photos were very artistic too.

For video, we chose Bellarino. We saw many videographers and Phil at Bellarino was very professional and his work far surpassed any of the others. We didn't even know the people in the videos and I felt like crying it was so emotional. They were just beautiful!!!

Fine Art for both. Came highly recommended by friends of family, loved owner, who will be doing our wedding and loved look of his pics!

We are using Artie from Artistic Images too!
I think he was sooo nice when i first met him! he had great prices and worked with us! plus anyone who can get my daughter to look into the camera and not to the side got the job!haha!
For video we are using JR video.. there prices where a little high but from what I saw they did noce work and also worked with us!

I vote for Silverfox as well. There are no packages, so you pick out what you want and know the prices of everything beforehand. I didn't have to decide on the albums (I am leaning towards the digital) - John the owner said I didn't have to pick them until I am ready.
I am aslo using them for video - their sample video was amazing.
