100% NO!!!!!!!

You ABSOLUTELY DO NOT have to wear a blusher (the veil over your face). It's a personal preference and no one should tell you otherwise.

I'm not wearing a blusher because I don't like that whole idea. Do what you want - if you don't want a blusher, don't wear one.

I am walking down the aisle with my veil over my face, but it is definitely not something that is necessary.

You really don't have to wear a veil at all...but the way I figure it: I'm wearing one & the reason they were made was to be over your face....

Anyway: it's like lingerie....sexy.

You do not have to wear it over your face. I'm not, and most weddings I've been to lately the bride's haven't worn it that way.

If you want to be traditional, then yes - but it's totally up to you!! It's your wedding!!

I definitely am wearing a blusher over my face -- and I have a chapel length veil in the back. Totally personal choice.

I wanted to create a very intimate, old-fashioned feel to my wedding. It's at an inn, just family and friends...my dress is on the more traditional, elegant side, so wearing the veil over my face fits the look of the wedding.

And, I wanted to have that experience with my dad. There are very few 'moments' that we have in life, and I felt looking up into my dad's eyes when he unveils me would be a special one.

Unless he hits me in the face or the veil falls off....lol!

I have a 2 tier elbow length veil that I will wear in back. Having my Dad, who only has vision in one eye and the other eye is 50-50 would be a disaster. I could just see him pulling it off by mistake, not to mention that I'm taller than him

I will not be wearing a veil over my face b/c I will need easy access to my face to wipe the tears away as I'm walking down the aisle. I am such a crier!!

I'm not wearing a blusher. I hate anything in my face. My sister is pissed to say the least. I think I'm the only one in my family that thinks it is personal presence. Do what will make you happy.

So funny you say that. I wore my veil over my face. Both of my parents walked me down the aisle, so my dad lifted the veil up, and my mom smoothed it down in the back.

I know my gf Kim is not wearing it over her fce I was iffy about it just bc I don't liek the way it feels. Although I will be earing it my mom said I had to if I wanted the head piece I got since she paid

I personally am wearing the blusher over my face. But my sis (MOH) has been asked to fix it, straighten it, whatever she has to do to fix it. I am not worried about m hair, but I do want the blusher to fall right because it has embelishments that should fall on the shoulders.

Either way it is a personal choice!
