i dont know that I necessary believe that ivory looks better on paler people. I'm pretty pale, (body wise, not my face which is very red) and most ivory dresses look almost yellow on me. So I think a lot has to do with what tones are in your skin.
I think in whatever dress you get you need to try on their different colors to see what looks best against your skin. You also have to remember that something when you change the color, the accent color changes as well. One of the maggies I loved, if i got white, it was white on white beading. =(

i had this issue too i didnt know what to do, but i chose ivory because i felt my skin tone looks better in ivory and the dress i picked looked more elegant i thought in ivory

i love my dress too much to change out of it, lol i figure my dress will just swallow me up temporarily when i dip low hahahahaaaa itll be like a magic trick

i got an ivory dress because like someone else said i think maggies white is too white. besides as long as your not next to anything stark white you can't even tell.

Ivory cause my skin is whiteeeeee! like even bluish white, so on top of that putting a white dress would look washed out. Ivory looked classy and complimentary to my skin tone

omg jo! u saw short dress in macys???????? which one!!!?? i cant find it anywhere anymore. it was the last 1 at saks and it was 5 sizes too big.. so i htought i would chance it and order it online. omg which macys?!

ivory!!!!! I'm a bit on the fair side and ivory just looks better on me. FH was actually mad tho that i'm not wearing white...i told him if he wants to marry a ghost he can go for it haha

Mine is going to be white! I have olive skin, especially in the summer/early fall, and dark features so I absolutely love the way white looks on me!
