LOL I am the one who picked OTHER. It's on a Tuesday! (ceremony 2 pm, cocktail 5 reception 6-10)It's the 1st day of summer. FH picked the date. The anniversary is very important to him. It's the longest day of the year. He asked me on Dec 21st, the shortest day of the year.
Thats the most important thing to him...is the date. He is totally cool w/ the Hello Kitty theme, so I gave him the day he wants. Hey seems like a good tradeoff for me!
I figure if I give enought notice w/ STD's, then anyone who is important will make sure they can be there. I like the date too. ANd it makes it so FH can not forget our anniversary, since he's the one who picked it. LOL he is so cute, he wants to make plans for our 'one year to go' aniversary, 6-21 this year, so we can check out the Inn@ eastwind and see what it will look like like the colors of the flowers and stuff(actually is being cool about FLOWERS!), and go out to dinner...

Thats really Awesome! And what great reasoning behind picking that day. My FH picked our date also. He picked it because 9 years ago from that date was the first time we kissed. So he said ' That was the first day we kissed as boyfriend and girlfriend and it will be the first time we kissed as man and wife' Kinda corney but CUTE....

Awww that is so adorable..not corny at all! He actually remembers the first day you kissed..mine doesn't!
shhhh I don't either but I wont tell him that!
