POLL: What do you do with wedding favors you can't use?
What do you do with a wedding favor that you eithert already ahve or have no use for?

i leave them at the reception site...
it's it's edible - i've probably already eaten it before the appetizer or salad has been ordered! but that's b/c i'm a gavone (for all the Italian ladies)

Do you mean extras of the ones we get for our own wedding, or ones that you got from someone elses wedding?

we're going to give them to guests that couldn't make it because of money issues, health problems, etc. we know that if they could have made it they would have

From someone else's wedding..like if it's your 10th cheese grater, or you know the vase doesn't match your decor..
I try to give it away if I can;t use it, most of the time I can. I love my measuring spoons, coffe scoop, wine stopper, bottle opener, cheese grater favors. I use them all the time. If I can't though I ask my mom or my sister or anyone else if they need it. if it has the couple's name on it though and I can;t use it, I feel guilty throwing it away. I have a vase from my cousin's wedding sitting on my dresser for over a year. I know I'll never use it. (I think I have change in it now), but I feel guilty throwing it away because it has their names on it

if its from someone else's wedding i usually come home, put it in a draw then one day I'm cleaning I ask myself why did i keep this then i throw it out.

usually I leave it or throw it away when I get home!!! There is only so many frames & candles I can have!!!

sometimes i just leave it there (maybe another guest likes it and could use an extra). othertimes, i take it home, let it sit around for a few weeks, and then i throw it out.

I throw them out, too - that's why I am doing edible favors at my own wedding - I figure usually people 'use' those!

I wouldn't leave it there so I wouldn't risk hurting the bride's feelings......I also wouldn't throw it away, I'd probably use it somehow....
ETA: I haven't been to that many weddings, so it's not like I have a collection, you know?

I;ll usually give it to my mom or grandmother they love those ceramic figurines and collectibles. I can't stand them thats why I'm giving personalized hot sauce!!!!!

I try to leave them at the reception hall, until my FH sees me leave it and then he makes a stink that I'm not taking it with me. It then collects dust in the drawer. Except if it's edible, it leaves the reception in my tummy, because a few candies are really necessary after a cocktail hour, a multicourse meal and a variety of dessert options.
