1.01 round center with .30 pears on each side doesnt sound too big but my finger is only a size 3.

kkattu: mine is very similar, but with hearts on the sides instead of pears. the hearts have the points the same way.
I think quality of diamond is more important than the size. FH had a choice of a larger diamond but it was rated less than the nearly perfect center stone he chose to go with. The way that it sparkles and shines is more important to me. JMO though!! I am very, very happy with his decision.

Mine is very similar to the one above...round center stone about 1 carat set in platinum, and I have pear shaped sapphires on either side, the color is F..I love it!! FH took 4 months to pick it out and did it all on his own!

Mine is 1.04 round, H, VS2, ideal cut set on a platinum band with a chandalier octet prong setting (8 prongs, two in each corner of the diamond)

thanks nancy - i totally agree! my ring is such good quality i am always staring at it cause it just sparkles like crazy. i love it.

Cookiek1: Your ring is similiar to mine. Does it have trapezoids and bullets on the side?

Mine is an emerald center 2.27 with trapezoids on the side. But a plain platinum band! Will post pict when can.

Mine is the same as soontobeMrs2004, but with a custom yellow gold insert behind the 'steps' We also got a brilliant cut & it is 2 ctw.

1.5 total, gold band with round center stone about .80 and 2 round stones on each side at about .2 each

well seeing how this is my second E ring..Im still very happy with it...the center stone is ALMOST 2 carats..almost..with 4 small diamonds on both sides..its princess cut..and its white gold though..I would have loved Platinum..but cant afford it these days....I love my ring..and feel lucky to even get a second ring!!! My FH is the greatest guy I know!!!!

Soon2bemrs...i think we have the same ring...i thought mine was original. Everywhere I go i get compliments on it...I too have the center stone as princess...i just love it. Is yours platnium?
