I am curious to poll everyone to see what type of shoe they are wearing!
I always pictured me in open toe but after trying some on...they really hurt my bunions!
Also I met a lady who told me if you are going with high couture, high fasion, an elegant event, etc, etc...that you should do close toe...Thoughts?
PS - I bought closed toe but am going to keep looking around!

i live in open toe shoes so closed toe just isnt my style......if open toe hurt your bunions than a peep toe should work, can you buy the little cushions to wear???

Please, wear whatever is comfortable for you. The shoes barely show under the dresses.
I wore a closed pump with a low heel because that is what I am most comfortable in. Low heel because my DH is the same height as I am. I wore my shoes for about 12 hours before I changed out of them into flats.
i almost went for a basic closed toe...very simple & elegant.........
But then i fell in LOVE with these!!!!!
my biggest thing was being comfortable...and believe it or not - these were! i just had the bridal shop stretch & break them in... i actually kept them on all night!(even though i had a pair of slippers ready to go lol) Go with what you're COMFORTABLE with....especially if ur having a long ceremony. u can't go wrong if they feel good!

Just got mine Saturday. I planned on getting a peep toe, but fell in love with these and got em:
I wanted a close toe pump, haven't started looking though.

I am definitely a high heel person...I am always in open toe/closed toe/etc but I do need to be comfy the day of!
These are one pair I bought that are super comfy! I wanted a rhinestone embellishment but oh well!
Also I originally wanted to go with a 3+ inch heel but decided against it because I dont want to be too tall and/or uncomfortable....and I like where my head can rest of FH chest when we dance! LOL

Also can you let me know where you went??? I went to a store in Patchogue and then a store called Shoe Chic in Englewood, NJ (near my house)....they had a great selection!
These are the other pair I bough but beading was silver and white. Not as comfy as above pair I posted!
I want a closed toe pointy stiletto that is about 4 inches. FH is 6'7 so I need something really high.

Why don't you get stick on rhinestones from the craft store and decorate the shoes yourself ? Some on the satin band above the toe box, and if you like, around the ankle strap.
