POLL: What Would You Prefer for Your HM...

If you *had* to choose between flying first/business class (your destination is 6+ hours) OR the HM suite - what would you choose?

the flight only lasts but so long. Defintiely the HM suite.

I would choose the HM suite. You'll probably spend more time in the room

Coach really isnt that bad.. and with a movie and a few magazines it will fly by... You will definitly enjoy the HM suite more!!!

I am a big supporter of the bigger hotel room, especially for longer trips.

IF you get to the airport early you can request the roomier emergency exit or bulkhead seats that make longer trips more bearable.

We're probably doing both...but I was just curious as to what what people's opinions were. I've heard mixed opinions from a lot of people.

I've flown coach to Europe - at least it was in the emergency aisle - but I didn't find it fun. I get too antsy sitting in one spot for too long...and I cannot sleep in a chair.

I would take the HM suite - I flew to HW in Coach and it was fine, slept most of the way anyway and we had a suite in Maui for a week that was worth every dime!

I flew first class to Hawaii and I haven't been the same since! I would totally chose first class, it makes the flight so much more enjoyable!!

Honeymoon suite!!! What do you get? Balcony, with awesome views, room service, big bed, PRIVACY, hows the bathroom??? Yeah, first class is nice, but this is your honeymoon!!! Make it the best!!!

The place(s) we're looking into booking - ALL the rooms have a veranda with views...the difference is just the size of the room which, to be honest, I don't care much about.

In the world of SATC - I'm much more like Miranda than Charlotte...that makes sense to those who saw the last SATC episode.

I never flew first class, so I don't know, but I'd rather the honeymoon suite.

I would go First Class all the way....

I hate flying coach on long flights (although I can't afford to do otherwise). Like someone above said, once you fly first class, your totally spoiled.....
I hate going back to coach.....but my wallet insists...lol!

As for the HM Suite - sure it's big, but whatever....the reg. room that you would get will still have the King size bed (i'm sure) balcony view (as you stated) and all of the other amenities at the dial of a phone....

I would much rather the comfort on the plane than in the room....JMO>

I said the flight - FH is 6'5' and if he doesn't get an exit row (which can't always be guaranteed), he is miserable and so am I since he spreads out and takes up my space!!!!

If it's just that the room is a little bigger, I guess I might go for first class then. If that's the ONLY difference. If it had something cool like a jacuzzi or a better view, then I'd say to take the room.
