POLL: What Would You Prefer for Your HM...

If you go American Airlines request row 17, this is a private little space (like a cubby) where there is only 2 seats and lots of leg room and seats that really recline! Almost as good as first class!

If you are flying another airline, request the emergency row exits. Not that much room, but better than regular seats.

I think first class is a waste of money..JMO I flew it several times before, not anymore, I'd rather spend less. We all get there at the same time

I hear ya on the waste...I'd fly business over first. I just looked into my flights - it's a 9 1/2 hour direct or up to 15 hrs with a connection.

I wonder if we could work 'newlywed charm' and get upgrades!

We're going on Olympic Air, which is a Greek Airline. The best deal our travel agent found was on this airline. We're paying $650 per person.

Here's a tip:

If you want an upgrade, dress VERY VERY VERY nicely. Shirt and tie if not a suite for a guy. You'll get it if they have it. Anyone thought of using a CC you can pay off right away for your wedding expenses, and hopefully getting enough miles for plane tickets or at worst case upgrades?

I studied in Berlin two summers ago and I went on AA frequent Flyer miles - I flew NY - London - on AA then british air from London to Berlin - it was great -
