we only had 4 months to plan our wedding.. so i got it right after we got engaged.

I started a year before because a lot of places told me that it takes 6-9 months to come in and then you need time for alterations. However, I ordered my dress in July and it's already in.

I started in November '06 for our September '07 wedding.

I started shopping in jan 07 and I bought it in aug 07 and my wedding is sep 08. I think as long as you order it at least 8 months before your wedding, you're ok

i bought my dress March 07 for my 11/8/08 wedding ,the dress will not be in until Jan 08
