Now, where should I keep it? I can leave it at the bridal salon for a year, or, I can take it to my parents. If I leave it at the store, they are responsible for making sure it's still perfect next year. If I take it to my parents, I get to visit it whenever I want.

I would definitely leave it at the bridal salon. You never know what kind of accidents might happen if u leave it at home

when will you get fitted, maybe you should leave it at the store till after your fittings, you never know what will happen in a year

Well #1 it's a lovely dress, i just love it.
My opinion is I think you should take it to your parents. The only reason I say that is because my sister got a dress at the salon and when she went to pick it up, they sold the dress on her. After she paid for it. I am not saying that it would happen to you, but you don't want to take the chance. At least you know it's home for a year and it's not going anywhere. At the salon, there is a chance they may sell it, and won't even care that you already paid for it.
Please take my advice, I wouldn't it happening to someone else. I know how my sister felt and it was horrible.
Whatever you choose, I am sure you will make the right decision!

I say leave it at the Bridal Salon. My mom tends to cook ALOT, (we're a big Italian family) and I would be afrid that my gown will smell like garlic or something . As nice as it would be to see it all the time, I just think it's better to leave it in the care of my salon.

I am going to leave it at the salon...if anything happens to it I would want to hold someone responsible if anything happened to it
