Poll Where you and your FH honest with each other about past relationships

I was just wondering if everyone was honest with their FH and the reverse about past relationships. In my case He had two Girlfriends before me. I was never with anyone else. I thought he was a vXXXXX when we met but now 9 years later he tells me no. I know it shouldn't bother me because he is with me. But I thought we had a monogamus (spelled wrong) relationship.

Would it bother you guys?
What ever answers you give I wont get upset.!

Yes we were honest. (or at least i hope so)

I think that since we did ask and discuss the matter if i now found out now that he had lied i would be very upset. just because he lied and that would be a trust issue. I didn't care if it was 2 girls or 20 girls. I knew that i am the last.
If you cant be completely honest with the one you love then who can you be honest with?

We where honest. What happened before we met does not really bother me. He has grown up a lot since we have been together.

I have been honest and sometimes too damn honest. But we look at those things as learning lessons.

If I were you I wouldnt be upset since the chances of finding a virgin (a male one at that) is probably slim to none. Yes he did tell a little white lie but he was probably trying to win you over.

He never really asked me-just not that type of guy and I know most of his past. People are who they are because of the moments that led up to this one-and I would never change anything about him. I am sure that I have done some things that he would not want to know about but I would be honest with him no matter what.

Same here I feel like I am raising him. He has grown up so much but so much to go.

I know myself being someone who never had a first kiss until I was 22 is alittle out the the normal these days.

We were honest with each other. Whatever he did before me, is the past. I know that I am his last, and that is all that matters now.

we have been honest from day one, plus we went to HS together, and dated each others friends, so we know things just from that...

yup we were up front and honest about EVERYTHING...he told me something about his past that made me really wary but he's proved himself time and again so i know i have nothing to worry about...and i was totally honest with him as well and although my past makes him a little uncomfortable..we talked about it worked everything out and its just so wonderful to have an honest and open relationship at last..

we've been honest. i had some dark times before i met my FH, and made sure he knew i wasn't an angel. sometimes he gets a teeny bit insecure cause he knows i'm a bit more 'experienced' than him...but in the end, he could care less. he knows i won't be with anyone else.

as for you being a little bit upset about finding out he was not a v*****...well i think you're probably upset because the romantic idea that you are the only person he shared that with and vice versa...has been shattered a bit. i would say, what's done is done...and you have to just look past it.

We are very honest with eachother about everything, so yes we were honest about our pasts! But it really didnt matter because that was then and this is now!

Well... there's a really big difference between not being monogomous and not being a virgin when you met... There's nothing wrong with not being a virgin, but if you weren't monogomous and you weren't aware of that, then he cheated... which for me would be a huge problem.

and yes, as far as I know we told each other everything. He even told me some things I didn't necessarily need to know... but we were really young when we met (16) so neither of us had too long of a list to tell.
