We did a head table, I actually never thought any different of it. We had 7 total bridal party

we're having a modified head table
no brial party.. they sit with their dates... we're sitting with our parents, and other close family members....

i havent even thought of it actually. but after the descriptions, id say sweetheart, altho i wish there was a way of sitting with our whole BP and all their dates! that would be ideal!

Sweetheart..... I don't mean to offend anyone at all, but to be honest, I think a head table is really mean to the BP if they have dates! These are people who spent A LOT of money and time for you and your wedding, and separating them from their dates (and often their friends) just doesn't seem fair. JMO though

I agree with all of you sweetheart table people, which is why tonight my goal is to talk FH out of the head table.
Everyone here in Milwaukee seems to do a head table and all the weddings FH has been to have had head tables so he just doesnt know any better really. lol Milwaukee needs to get with the times!

Let me tell you, I can't argue on behalf of the sweetheart table enough. I went to a wedding where I knew no one except my date, and she was in the bridal party. Spent hours with folks I didn't know, and I didn't enjoy it as much as I could've with her there. Plus, it gives you a chance to sit your BMs and GMs with others they know and want to catch up with. Go with the sweetheart table... I hope you can convince FH.
