I'm trying to decide which bustle to get. While I was in love w/the French bustle..I didn't really like the way it looked when I went for my fitting. The regular bustle looked very clean and pretty and showed off the detail of my train.

i had a pickup bustle and it was my favorite part of the dress! there are pics in my album. it stayed the whole night and was held up by ties

My Bridal shop is a little ridiculous w/their prices. I knew that a french bustle was going to cost me $175 but I didn't like the way the lady did it. The regular bustle looked very nice (surprisingly). But get this..for the regular bustle there are 2 buttons that have to be attached and the buttons are $10.00 each. I find that to be a rip off because how else would you put the bustle up. They just find EVERYTHING and anything to charge extra money for. Still undecided about which I want.... what are names of some other bustles??

I would get the regular. I like the look of the french, but I think it covers up all the detail on your train.

I agree. You want to show off that fantastic beading on your train. Maybe they can make the regular one a bit poofier so it looks kind of like a french bustle.

I think I had a french bustle... but it didn't have two tiers, only 1. Maybe you can do something like this to show off the detail more:

I'm attaching a pic of the bustle I'm thinking of doing with my Eve dress. I don't know if it has a name, its a combination of the two. Its a regular bustle in the center which I think will show off the detail of the dress and pick-ups on the side which I think will also show off more detail than a regular bustle because the detailing on my dress goes all around the dress. I can't remember where I got this pic.
