Or which one is better, in your opinion. I'm not from LI and haven't had either.
Here are the specs:
Pindar - Long Island Spring Splendor This light, lovely Blush Wine is fermented with natural American Cranberry. Pale pink in color, tart and yet sweet to taste makes this a avorite with barbecue foods, beef, and fish. Serve it chilled for easy sipping.
-Comes wrapped in a clear bag with bow in color of choice; couple's names and date of event are printed on a sticker/label.
Pugliese - Blush Table Wine (Niagara & Merlot) The only vineyard to have established the Niagara grape on Long Island. The Pugliese Blush is aromatic, slightly sweet and luscious with fresh grape flavor. The color comes from Merlot and the fragrance and flavor from Niagara. Try the wine chilled with fresh fruit and cheese. The perfect summer sipper.
-Comes wrapped in a clear bag with a bow; couple's names and date of event are hand-painted on the bottle.

The Pindar is really nice, its nice that its called Spring Splendor and you are getting married in the spring. Its also nice that it is bottled on Long Island and thats where you are from and where you're getting married.
Pindar is really good wine too and I know they give asmall discount if you buy in bulk from the winery direct. Or almost all liquor stores give you a discount if you buy wine by the case.
The thing is that I'm not from LI and neither is my family or guests (obviously) so they don't have special meaning to me...other than the fact that the reception is in LI.
Thanks for your honesty...keep it coming!

Honestly, I really do not like Pindar wines...BUT...I am one of the few peopel who doesn't like Pindar. It's actually a great wine that seems to please most people, especially those who are not big wine drinkers, so I would go with the Pindar.

But a lot of people I know who don't drink use these favors as gifts So nothing goes to waste...or they use it when they have company over, etc....

Not a downer at all! Luckily, our guests (like us) are lushes! But fi does have a few cousins that are Christian and don't drink, we'll get them cider or non-alcoholic champagne (like Fre)...still want to do the 'drink and be merry' thing - it doesn't have to be alcoholic. But the majority - oh yes, they can drink!

I am going with the spring splendor (April Weddding) where did you go? I called P Jefferson and they were pricey and went to 2 local liquor stores and the lowest I got was 5.89 per bottle. I need 72 bottles and that is without labels and wrapping. GRrrrr.. what to do? Any know any places that gave you good deals? TIA

I voted for pindar, I want to give the same as for my favors. Do you mind me asking where you may get them from and the price? Thanks
