Poll-Who do you call when something bad happens?

Like this morning- I called Jake first but I didn't expect him to do anything

then I called my dad- he is taking care of everything

I am 28 years old and getting married in 29 days and I still call my Dad!

I tried to all a poll and it wouldn't let me!

I call FH when something bad happens, then my mom next. But when something good happens I call my mom first bc I know she'll share in my excitement, my FH doesn't get excited about the litle things like I do!

I call Ghostbusters.

Then I call Ed and play damsel in distress so when I get home I can get some sort of back rub or pity party.

ironically I heard that song on the radio this morning- how funny!

I call FH, then my brother. Don't feel bad, I'm 36 and I still call my big brother when something happens.

I always try to take care of things on my own and if I can't then I definitely call DH. He is pretty good of taking care of things and he is very calm at all times.

I call FH first, but then my dad/mom (yet they live about an hour away)...I would then call FH's dad who can always be counted on.

I'm 38 and married and if my Dad lived here I would probably call him first.

I always call FH first. But after that, I usually call my FMIL. We're really close, and she is just calm and knows how to deal with things like insurance and such.

this is EXACTLY me .....most of the time the only reason i call FH is to b!tch about what ever is happening to me....

Depending on what it is...I will usually call my FH first & foremost!

if it is girl/emotional things, I call mom
if it is car/house related, I call dad

FH. My parents live 800 miles away - they can't really help. During the blackout 2 years ago, I called FMIL for help.

Depends on the situation.

car stuff - my dad (he owns a body shop and has connections)

other stuff - FH, Mom, Sisters

FH first for sure, then family & friends.

But I'm pretty lucky cause my Fh always has a way of making everyhting better.

It completely depends on what it is that happened. If my car breaks down (for example) I'm not calling FH, I'm calling AAA. If it is something that I just want to vent about, then I'll call FH. But if FH is the something bad that happened (as in fight or argument) I'm calling my best friend.
