DH and I paid for our entire wedding. We wouldn't have had it any other way.

FH and I are paying for the church, limos, bridal party gifts, tux. My mother is paying for mostly everything else. My father is chipping in a bit too. My mom actually wouldn't let me pay for stuff because her parents paid for her wedding and she wanted to do the same for me. I love her to death.

My dad and stepmom asked if they could buy my dress & mantilla and our invitations...everything else is being paid for by FH & me.

No money coming from Dad, None from FH's family None from FH
So.. it's my party.. if you know what I mean
Oddly enough it's my fault. I said 'Im getting married in Long Island' and everyone is now suggesting since it's so expensive out here.. they just can't imagine their small amount helping out.. so they're not sending any help. Maybe they'll buy something off my registery.. bah!

My parents. They are very old fashioned and my father insists. FI's family wants to contribute as well, so I think my dad is letting them pay for the flowers, he had a hard time sharing the cost at all.

My parents and my FH parents are paying for our wedding and wanted it that way......but FH and I wanted to pay for at least a few things so we payed for the Gifts, BP gifts and the invites.
