I wish FH wasn't dancing with his mom. She has given us nothing but problems so far. I think she would really flip if he didnt dance with her.

FH can't dance with his mom, she passed away about 3 years ago. So he'll be dancing with his daughter instead.

Oh this is a fantastic thread...I thought I was the only one with this issue.
FH has a mom and step mom. He grew up with his step mom from like 12 on, and didn't talk to his real mom for a couple of years. Anyhoo, everything is fine and they talk now, but he's not comfortable dancing with her. And he can't possibly dance with step mom and not mom. So he was thinking of not doing it at all, but mom would be broken hearted.
Whoever said it, said it right...Oh the drama!!

My brother didn't dance with my Mom at his wedding either. FH and I are both dancing with our respective parents. Let him do what makes him happy.

FH mother passed and his grandmother who raised him wont be able to dance with him (medical reasons).
So it will just be me dancing with my sister

that's sort of FH's problem. its not that he doesn't 'like' her, they just don't have that type of close relationship. I'm not gonna make him dance with her, but I thought it was weird that he wasn't going to even though I'm going to dance with my dad

My Fh is dancing with his mother and step mother. Long story, but he considers them both to be his mother. He grew up with step-mother since his dad had custody.
