Things are always breaking here. Now, I kow things break, but it is all the time! And nothing is ever easily fixed.
Is this normal?

The English office at school was terrible during the last few days - the AC broke and they couldn't fix it - it was nasty and sticky everywhere

At least one computer crashes a day.
There was that whole flooding thing.
The copy machine operates only when a pencil is jammed between it and the wall preventing the feed door from flying open.

No, but I LIVE in the land of the broken. Our house is 80 years old and everyhting is just OOOOOOLD> Even Fh's apt is newer but it still seems like everything is broken bc the landlord fixes nothing. The light in the entraceway t the apt has been on for a solid year b/c the landlord won't fix the outdoor motion sensor light and we need to keep that hall light on so it sheds some small amount of light on the exterior stairs so we don't fall down them and die

No. I work in a brand new office...And if/when anything ever goes wrong, there is a person to call to fix it.

honestly- everything is great- except the coffee machine- but i really cant complain- if something breaks - and things do- they pay top dollar to fix it- definitely not cheap here

As I am typing, I cannot get an outside line or receive incoming calls from outside our office exchange. This happens about once a month.

You fibber! A place like that can't exist! Can it?
Our postage machine died 3 weeks ago. The new one has taken sicen thursday to be installed & not it works, butwe wont' be trained untill Monday on how to use it.
The email server died Thursday, b/c their is no ventalation or AC in the server room.
Without the mail server we couldn't access the network at all on Friday.
Friday the AC broke due to lack of maintetance( and shockingly was fixed)
Monday the email is back, but we can't access old files.
In the process of fixing it, all the my desktop setting were changed. I think Windows may have been re-installed.
Most people now can't print.
We had phone problems for years untill a few months ago when we got a new system.
My compter crashed daily & failed in other ways for about 8 months last year.
