i've seen the movie and heard the album, but never tried the 2 together and i think that someone just wanted it to work so badly that they convinved others that it matched.

as a former blonde, i'll explain - the idea is, that dark side of the moon, by pink floyd matches up with wizard of oz, the movie. was it intentional or just a coincedience.

I heard two band members being interviewed on NPR a while ago - they say that it's entirely untrue that they wrote that album to go with the movie. But it's an incredible coincidence.

On Napster I downloaded the movie already synced That seemed to be the best way. (wish i still had it) There are palces when it just REALLY works and you're like 'wait..how can this be a coincidence?' then again, maybe you could do it with any album and any movie if you clicked your heels enough! I think you're supposed to hit play at 3rd lion's roar. I haven't done it in a LOONG time, but it's a lot of fun. That give me my idea for my next party!

So freaky weird!!! When I lived upstate a Classic Rock Station actually had this whole event based on it...so freaky!!! They played the album and movie...eek! I wish I still had the sheet they made up...I don't know...little too coincidental for me!

In college, they set up a movie night on College Green (big wide open space in the middle of campus). They showed the movie Scream, and then they showed The Wizard of Oz and Dark Side of the Moon... Now, I admit to being a little teeny bit inebriated, but it worked pretty darn well!

We had a cool HS and a cool Classic Rock Club. They threw me a 16th birthday party...it involved a lot of dancing on the desks!

We had lots of cool events, we watched the Woodstock movie, watched the HAiR movie, etc.

That sounds really fun! I went to a small private school so we didn't have anything like this!!
