Truly horrible.
TMZ: Brittany Murphy died early this morning after she went into full cardiac arrest and could not be revived, multiple sources tell TMZ.
She was 32.
A 911 call was made at 8:00 AM from a home in Los Angeles that is listed as belonging to her husband, Simon Monjack, the Los Angeles City Fire Department tells TMZ.
We're told Murphy was taken to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center where she was pronounced dead on arrival.
Murphy starred in such films as 'Clueless,' '8 Mile,' and 'Don't Say a Word.'

I always was a big fan.
This is depressing. they said it was cardiac arrest but who knows tomorrow what they will say it was.
I will be disappointed if they say it was drugs.

Totally strange - but my gut tells me it had to be something with drugs. Way too young for such a thing to happen unless there was a pre-existing condition she didn't know about.
She had been in the news lately too b/c she had gotten fired from a job - so i hope (if it was drugs) it doesn't have anything to do with that

my sis and i are still in shock...
her quote on Dec 3rd... 'As far as having a New Year's resolution, I'd love to have a child next year,' she said at the time.

I have been doing school work all day and havent been on the computer. I just turned on the computer and saw this and cant believe it. I loved her. This is so sad. This just reminds you that stars are regular people also

My sister died at 26 of heart failure, but she had a pacemaker for a few years. I heard Brit might have had an eating disorder? So sad! She was so beautiful and bubbly!

I'm pretty sure she had diabetes and they said she was wayy under weight as well. So it is possible it was natural, because she was unhealthy.

So sad! She looked really unhealthy in the picture yahoo had on the story yesterday... very very thin & shadows under her eyes. It was a picture from December 1st! She really was such a free-spirited happy person... so beautiful. It really is soooo sad
