This group seems really close. They get so emotional when one of them gets kicked off.

My 56 year old aunt is crying hysterically that he is gone!! She is going to get his address and write him a letter to tell him how great she thinks he is!!!!!!!

I too am crying hysterically! He of course did not have the best voice but he was such a sweetheart who endured so much! I simply do not think any of it was fair to put him through! Hopefully someone out there will take him on for something....he would be a shame to have him just fall of the earth but I think with his personality and sweet ways, we will see him again!

He has talent for the type of music he sings. He sucks at anything else and I'm glad he's finally off the show.

Heis a cute kid..but in my opinion not comparable in talent with some others that are on there. He does do his type of music very well and they were awfully cruel to him..but I think he'll do well for himself..hes a 16 year old sweet natured kid who can sing ..and I just loved his red hair! But my vote is on latoya..she is AESOME!!

My poor red head!! But, it was his time to go. And he seemed quite relieved to get out of there. Though I think he will miss the others. The abuse just was SO uncalled for!!

He definately would of kicked arse next week.

My boycott is over. I can now watch American Idol again. I agree he is a sweet boy, but it is just painful to listen to him sing. I do wish him well though.

awwww...he is such a sweet kid. all the abuse was totally assanine, glad Simon said what he did last night to encourage him. thought it was time for him to go, but it rude for ryan to say 'Are you relieved' makes him feel like he should never have made this far. he is talented for his genre and worked just as hard, if not harder as anyone else there.

His departure was bitter sweet. I was glad to see him go bc his performances are pretty boring and haven't been very good, but he genuinely seems like a nice kid.

I won't miss his singing, but I thought he behaved like a real gentleman. (That politeness was really why I liked Clay last year -- I just liked how he handled criticism and whatnot.)

It was nice when Ryan asked John what he would miss, and he pointed to the rest of the contestants and said, 'them.'

I'm glad George was safe!
