He seemed like a nice kid but his voice was nowhere good enough for this competition IMO

Perfectly said! On Tuesday I knew it was over for him when his voice actually cracked or squeaked and for a second before the camera moved you saw his face like 'OH S***' then the camera moved away.

i'm glad to see him go. i don't care how nice he is. he should have been the the third one off (first should have been leah, second should have been camile). he should count his blessings that he was allowed to make it this far. sorry, but i don't think he will ever be a singer. imo he's just not that talented at it. certainly never a pop star!

My boycott is over. I can now watch American Idol again. I agree he is a sweet boy, but it is just painful to listen to him sing. I do wish him well though.
