Wow!! I got to see my name in a thread title!!! Well I am THRILLED to report, I went to PJCC last Saturday and I ABSOLUTELY loved it!! It is so much more beautiful in person, I saw some pictures but they did not do it justice. What I love best about it, is that it has a very traditional understated elegance about it. They way it is decorated is fabulous!!! I love the mahogany look. The cocktail hour room is absolutely amazing. When I went it was set up for a wedding of 135 outside, and it looked great! The reception room --I was surprised wasn't overwhelming big as it had looked to me in pictures but again very beautiful, I didn't even mind the carpeting and am not a big fan of carpeting, a small thing but some places I have been are so beautiful and the carpeting is just awful!!! They showed us where and how the food would be set up during cocktail hour, its crazy the amount of food and they also set up more tables than necessary so people can mingle. Of course, they can also go outside, weather permitting and that view is amazing!!! The recption room is gorgeous as well. Thebathrooms and bridal suite are both downstairs and are very nicely decoarated.
I had not seen it in person, only pictures and feel a lot better now. Also, I know a while back there was some talk about the chairs. They are fine, no need for chair covers IMO. That's all I can think of, if you want to know anything else, FM me...
