can anyone recommend a restaurant in downtown Port Jefferson for a party of about 30 people? I have never been to any of them - and dont know which ones are better than others. I am looking for one with GOOD food that my guests will RAVE about!

Printer's Devil has an awesome private party for 30 people and the food is excellent there.

printer's devil is more of a pub though.....sandwiches and stuff...a family member went to a RD there and was slightly disappointed at the lack of menu choices, but said the quality was good

Depending on what night, Pasta Pasta can accomodate 30 people.
I like Elk Street Grill. Also- Lombardi's on the Sound (Port Jeff Country Club) has good food and can hold parties of 30.

Pasta Pasta is really good, but small. FH and I had one of our first dates there. Also, there is a steak place called Pace's. I've never been to the one in Port Jeff (it's fairly new, I've been to the sister location in Hauppauge) and it's really good.

Everyone will definately RAVE about PASTA PASTA... SUPER YUMMY!!! We just ate there this week... for dessert Toast (Next door to pasta pasta) is AWESOME... fondue and wine! yuuummmmm
Pace's is also very good... its a steak place.

you can check out dockside they great food! we had my niece's christening there 2 and a half years ago. we also had in mother's day there too and they do have a room for 30 people. goodluck i hope you find something down there.

We had our RD dinner at Elk Street Grille....the food was excellent and they went out of their way to make it exceptional!
