Possible Places and Menus for our GTG (a little long)

Here is one choice:
Cafe Bella
47 Franklin Avenue
North Valley Stream

They have 5 different packages. So far myself, ChippaTriD and aliasPook like Package #2 or #3. If you like this place, let me know which package you like.

Package #1 - $15.95 pp
choice of 2 pastas
choice of veal or chicken
cake
unlimited coffe and soda

Package #2 - $18.95 pp
Mozzeralla & Tomato (served family style)
choice of salad
choice of 2 pastas
choice of veal or chicken
cake
unlimited coffee and soda

Package #3 - $20.95 pp
choice of salad
choice of 3 pastas
choice of veal, chicken or fish
cake
unlimted coffee, cappuccino/espresso, soda and wine

Package #4 - $25.95 pp
Hot Antipasto (stuffted muschrooms, fried zucchini, baked clams, mussels, mozzeralla sticks, eggplant rollatini)
choice of 3 pastas
choice of veal, chicken, fish or steak
cake
unlimited coffee, cappuccino/espresso, soda and wine

Package #5 - $35.95
Hot & Cold Antipasto
Choice of 3 pastas
choice of veal, chicken, shrimp, fish or steak
cake
fresh fruit platter
unlimited coffee, cappuccino/espresso, soda and wine, beer & full bar
champagne toast

I don't think we need Package #5

Let me know what you want to do. Do you want to just go somewhere, order what ever you want and then we split the bill?

I have the menu for Waterzooi but I can not scan it to post it, if you want to see it e-mail me and I will send you the menu.

I called and left a message for Cork n' Board and I need to call Violetta's later on today. I will keep you posted and you let me know what you want to do.

I like 2 or 3. The wine option is good though! Has anyone been here before? Just want to make sure the food is good.

I just got off the phone with Violetta's (Merrick). For $32 pp (that is with tip, the prices of the packages from Cafe Bella are without tip, tip 18%), we get:
salad
baked clams
fried mozzarella
pasta - rigotoni alla vodka
chicken francese (sp?)
stuffed eggplant with fresh mozzeralla
broccoli
unlimited soda, wine and coffee
desert (napoleon cake)
All the above (except for the cake) is served family style with unlimited amount of food that we want. We would have our own room upstairs. Let me know what you think about this.

I got a great deal there because my FI is a Reserve Police Officer and they have their dinners there every year. I love their food. I just need to know if we want them ASAP because 2/28 is the only Friday in Feb. that they are not booked.
