Hi 07 brides... I am currently an 08 bride - I got engaged in December and have since booked a place and a band and have done lots of research on everything else. My fiance and I are now considering pushing up the date to Sept 07 which would give us about 6 months to really plan the wedding since we havent done that much yet (although we pretty much know all the vendors we would want to use, etc). Do you all think its feasible or is it really going to be tough? Thanks in advance for your thoughts!!

Its feasible to plan a wedding in 6 months, however you need to know if your current vendors are available on your new date. If they are not available then you may have to forfeit your deposit and find new vendors. Good Luck with your decision.

I have a 4 month engagement! we planned everything in 4 months...well 2 months so far haha...its FINE, stressful, but TOTALLY feasible!

You can absolutey do it! I started planning in January and if you keep on top of things and don't drag your feet too much, you'll be fine.

I planned my dream wedding in 3 months. I looked at it this way if you can't do my flowers/video/photography/limos there are about 300 other people that can. Don't stress over vendors just make sure your ceremony and reception hall venues dates and times match up. A bonus of planning a fast approaching wedding is the prices are far better

Absolutely, You have everything done, it's the little things that take time, If you and FH can come up with the money between now and then, I would say absolutely!!!

It is definitely possible. Last year my friend planned a wedding in under 6 months. (due to the fact she was moving to London)
ETA: I did not book any major vendors (photo, florist, limo) until January and February of this year so you should definitely be fine.

You can absolutely do it. Once you nail down the big vendors, the rest isn't that bad at all. Just make sure that you are ok in case the prices jump by having the wedding during the 'in season' time.
