POST OFFICE AND INVITATIONS

I mailed my invites 3 weeks ago and wondering why im missing a good chunk of rsvps. So we called around the majority of ppl got there invites this past MON AND TUES
I couldnt believe it! Now they totally screwed me and i have to wait an extra week for the 40 ppl who got theres this week.

We had four returned to us--saying that the addresses were incorrect! THEY WERE ALL CORRECT. Yeah, we got our share of 'no forwarding allowed' returns, but I couldn't believe that some family members didn't get invites right away because the post office was being stupid!!!

Makes me want to call/e-mail the people who haven't RSVPed yet to see if that's the reason. . .

Makes me want to call/e-mail the people who haven't RSVPed yet to see if that's the reason. . .

OMG thats crazy!!!! Wait what was 'no forwarding allowed' all about??

We sent ours early for two reasons. 1-We didn't do save the dates because it would have seemed like STD and invites too close together. 2- More than half of our invites went out of state/country and we wanted to give those guests adequate time and ourselves a ballpark figure on # of attendees as early as possible. So that being said, we sent them early with a late rsvp and people are still just getting them, while some we have had rsvps back for weeks. It's CRAZY so considering some went a great distance I am SO glad we sent early!

I was in total shock i mean im like to my fh you have to call some ppl because everyone asking for the invites then we send them and no response? So they are like yes we just got them monday and of course i thought that one person was making it up until 20 more ppl said they just got it friday. Im like the post office ***** so bad!!!!!! I live in queens and these ppl are in queens as well. So just beware girls if you dont hear back or rsvps are toooo slow that may be a possiblity.

Yeah you pay enough effin postage for them to forward it!
