POST OFFICE is pissing me off!!!

I posted the other day that someone never recieved our invite. Well this week I found out that 2 others never recieved it. Now FMIL told me today that someone just recieved theirs TODAY. They were ALLLLLLL mailed out on JUNE 6. Now Im thinking that these people (who I already sent out a second invite too) will end up getting it much later.

Im freaking out that there are so many others that have not recieved it - or who may never recieved it. Im obviously not going to find out all of them until the RSVP date and I cant keep sending out more invites im running out.

I dont understand whats going on


ETA: I also know people who sent their RSVPs to us that took over a week to get to us.
they need to get their act together

I am pissed at them too! One of the members of our bridal party called and said their invite looked like it was burned and ripped and practically torn to shreds! I was SOOOO livid!!!! We spent a lot of money on our invites and all they had to say was a sticker on it saying ..your mail has been damaged sorry for the inconvenience..... damn at least refund my DOLLAR postage that i had to pay to mail them!!!! ugh dont get me started

hmmm the PO is weird sometimes. Were they invites that were going far that had problems or local?

I sent mine out early yesterday morning and it's sounding like all the LI people have them. Don't know about OOTers yet.

no most all nassau county which is where i mailed them from
I know a lot of people recieved them the next day, but dont know whats going on with the rest

That's one of the very few episodes that I actually watched lol.

I'm actually kinda worried about the mail too. Our RSVP date is in a week and a half and we don't even have 50% yet. Granted that it's mostly probably people just not sending them back but that number seems really low.

how frustrating! were yours really bulky or anything?
I know I had perfectly 2oz but b/c the ribbon made it a little thick in the middel they told me to up the postage from 59cent to 2-42cent to cover the 'surcharge' for a thicker envelope.

No they were fine it cost 59 cents to mail. I ended up having to put 2 42 cent stamps on though because they were the only pretty ones available but i went to 4 post offices and could only get 7 sheets of the putple 42 cent hearts so the rest I had to put 58 cent and a 1 cent stamp. i got so screwed because i needed to mail them and the new ones were coming out a week later.

I am a Letter Carrier for Levittown PO. I can't begin to tell you how many of the RSVP;S are mis directed because the machine can't pick up the font. There are certain ones that are very hard to read. It's a machine error. I look foward to delivering them because I know how exciting it is. Some things can't be helped even though I am on your side.
