well mine isn't really mermaid but dropped waist it is more fitted throughout my butt area and then flares out lower than the front.

thank you... i thought i wanted straps in the beginning so they just put some on me to see how it would look (it doesnt come with them), but tried it on like 5 more times after that pic was taken and went for the strapless instead
