Is anyone considering a post wedding photo shoot? I've been seeing this alot lately and seems very appealing. I love the idea of a totally different feel, venue and editorial-esque feel to the photos.

I found a knottie that did the post wedding shoot. You can take a look and see how different the wedding day photos are as opposed to the post wedding photos.. both very beautiful but in different ways.
I don't think I like the idea. To get all dressed again. I don't think I would be interested in doing another day of pictures or paying for it.

I'm sure people will feel much differently than I feel about this but I think your wedding is one day and one day only, once it's over so is your moment in the spotlight and it's time to move on past your WEDDING to your LIFE. How long can you hold onto that bride feeling?

I vote no for this. I think the moment of your wedding puts you in a different mood all together rather than have fake, posed photos after your wedding.

I am not. On my wedding day I am going to have a natural happy glow on my face. I am going to be high on happiness. Post wedding pictures I would have to keep smiling, and it would be the same smile w/a glow of happiness

We are doing a 'Day After Shoot' not neccessarily the day after though but within a month or two... I feel that I will be more relaxed, not rushed and willing to get dirty for awesome shots... :)

My photographer offered this to me as an option if i wanted to have more time to take pics all over the city BUT i leave the very next day on my honeymoon and to have to get all dressed up again and the hair and makeup to get it to look the same, i think it will be too much of a hassle!

we're not doing them bc we're already spending a lot on photog, but i day-after pics. they're usually so much more dramatic and artistic.

I don't know about this. . . I mean at least you get to wear your dress again, but then to get all gussied up again and it is a lot of money - but if money were no problem - I think it would be a lot of fun!
