We are doing the invite from us. Not sure if we are going to have full name on top or monogram on top full names at bottom but here is our wording...

My parents are paying for the reception and his parents are divorced and FH does not talk with his father so we were a bit unusual. Our wording is: Mr. and Mrs. John Doe request the honour of your presence at the marriage of their daughter Jennifer Jane to Joseph John son of Ms Mary X Mr John X
I don't remember exactly how the rest of the wording went just the time and the church and the location.
We're not having kids at the wedding (except for FH's nephews) we didn't say anything about it on the enevelope - will just address the enevelope with only the adult names!

see thats my issue.....FMIL has been telling ppl they can bring their kids and they cant!....so i dont know if i should put something on there or not

That is crazy!! It's your wedding it should be done your way!! If I were you I would def add in adult reception!! Good luck!!

Maybe your RSVP card can say something like '_____ seats have bee reserved in your honor'.
