Ronan Keating - When You Say Nothing At All - FH was being all romantic when we were on our first vacation together. He put the song on & asked me to dance with him in our hotel room. It was one of the first songs we danced to :)

Dave Matthews - you and me
We were sitting at home downloading music on the computer a few weekends ago. as i played this song he pulled me up and started dancing around the apartment...we knew that was our song!

Mine was Lee Dewyze 'Your still the one'
Only because we have been together for a gazillion years, lol. (14 years) and this was the only song that really meant it took a long time to get where we are and we did it!! It was very sweet

When we first started dating, I went over to DH's house one night and he said he had a song that he wanted to play for me. It was Journey's 'Faithfully,' we made out hardcore to it, and it became 'our song.'

DH and I chose this because it really described our relationship- we hit a few rocky moments when we were dating but we overcame them obviously in the end

'Glory of Love' from the Karate Kid. We were naming super cheesy love songs & said it as a joke, but now we get all warm & fuzzy when we hear it playing at the grocery store.

This is our song too! We love Dave, FH bought me tickets to a big concert/camping weekend for our 1 month anniversary. We've been going through a lot in our relationship with me being in the military, and since we've heard it, he's always related the lyrics to our life to make me feel better.
I think it may be difficult to dance to because of the rhythm but I can't wait

FH and i were going through a hard time and we had been on and off for a while. We started seeing each other again. We were at a bar together and this song came on and we were dancing to it and it said so much of what we felt. We decided that it was our song.

We are miserable when we are apart from each other (which is not often). The song is perfect for us. When I suggested it, we had people over and they were all like yes, that's it. Plus we both like the movie Con Air, LOL.

Please Please Please Let Me Get What I Want by the Smiths
Yes...very odd choice....DH LOVES the Smiths....he played this song for me, told me it was one of his faves. I recognized it as being from Ferris Bueller's Day Off (instrumental played during the museum scene) and liked it. I knew it was not conventional, but it kinda became our song. Then one day, DH played the song for my mom, and she said, jokingly, this should be your wedding song. It was like a light bulb went off, and that's when we picked it.
Our band did an excellent job playing it too, btw.

we loved the fact that we had our very last 'first kiss' and last 'first date' with each other, and love that line in the song - not to mention the rest of the lyrics. :)
a lot of people aren't familiar with the song (i wasn't until my fiance played it for me one day)... needless to say, that was one of the first questions we asked our band when we hired them (they weren't familiar with it, either!)
