I don't know if I would purchase the whole set, but I love this bed and the upholstered wall behind it:

I'd take this too :

So many I like in Foremost!

One similar to what you posted (post bed, but I can't find it on their site).

I also like:

Just no room for what I want where I am now.

I don't have any pics...but it would include a wood sleigh bed & a 5 drawer (tall), lingerie chest...and an amoire.

I LOVE the sleighbeds

Re: Post your Dream bedroom Set!

I like the look of sleighbeds, just can't sleep on them. I'm too tall.

Re: Post your Dream bedroom Set!

never even thought of that. Jenny..how tall are you??

6'1'. Our friends have one in their guestroom and it's guaranteed I won't sleep at all overnight. Obviously it's not a king size, but even on Kings I'm right at the edge.

Re: Post your Dream bedroom Set!

Im 5'8' and have a sleigh bed and boy do I wish someone had told me about the height thing before I bought it. Its such a pain in the a$$! Im constantly hitting the end of the bed..ugh.

Oh and it makes the room look smaller than an open ended or low footboard did.

I bought the bed years ago when I had not really started decorating yet and didnt think of those things. :(

Wow, i never thought of the length/height issue. I used to want a wrought iron bed (for the hand cuffs ) but then fell in love with the sleighs...guess it's back to the original.

I'm 5'11'' and have a sleigh bed (Queen)...I've never touched the footboard. That's strange! I know what you guys mean though, I had a daybed in my mom's house and my feet would always hit the side..it was so annoying.

Re: Post your Dream bedroom Set!

Tara, is that a Thomasville set? We fell in love with it, but it's huge. There was no way we could have fit it

I hear you all on the height issue. We have a Queen bed now with no footboard (or headboard for that matter). I never noticed that my DH feet hang off the end! So when we started looking we were going to get a king until we found out that a king is not longer than a queen. So it's a California King for us (4' longer than a queen/king). But not all sets offer a California King bed. and sleigh beds are definitely out for us. We were just about ready to order a set, when a property deal we've been waiting on came up, so there goes my bedroom furniture....for now anyway
