Re: POST YOUR EVERYDAY CHINA SET!
I'm not doing a set because I wanted plain white plates. I'm doing individual peices - 12 of each dinner plate, salad plate, bowl, and cup and saucer.
Barbie - I LOOOOOOOVE your every day china!

Oh that's great then! You can buy them as you go if you don't get all of them at your shower! I dont know when I think I'm having 12 people over that isn't an occasion fancy enough to use my formal china, but I feel like I need 12 pieces anyway!

Re: POST YOUR EVERYDAY CHINA SET!
They are made in France by Gien pattern
Filets Taupes
I bought them for myself in December at a sample sale that they and Baccarat were having.
They were 80% off!! Then when I came home I saw them at Neiman Marcus for full price!! I bought a set of 6 of EVERYTHING and spent a total of $160
I LOVE SAMPLE SALES!!
My FH hates them b.c they are French b.c he is Anti-France and he claims he will not eat off them lololol. Meanwhile I been buying myself things I shouldnt since I keep finding good deals such as
Le Creuset 8-Piece Stainless-Steel Cookware Set
for $190.

We liked this set, but FH did not feel the bowls were big enough for him so then we picked those out seperatly to match.

My China looks exactly like that. Plain white. Can't go wrong with that!

Re: POST YOUR EVERYDAY CHINA SET!
I let FH pick them out but I liked them, they worked well with my plan for a yellow (sunflower themed) kitchen and gave FH his blue.
