Shop those clearance racks first!!! Who cares if is out of season 9 chances out of 10 you will be able to wear it still, or soon enough!!

Money MAKING idea: sell all your old junk on ebay. Perfect for when you move out of your parents' house and move in with your husband/ fiance and you have lots of crap to get rid of anyway!

whatever is left in my checking account just before my paycheck is deposited - I transfer it out to my savings account.
It forces me to always spend less than I make, and once I transfer out anything that was left into savings, I consider it GONE and don't touch it so it stays as savings.

We put all our change in a jar at the end of each day. We try to break a bill instead of giving exact so we can get change back. You would be suprised how fast it adds up.

Oh I am a savvy shopper:
1. Sample Sales - I like designer clothing but I am on every sample sale list and buy everything so cheap. FM me any times you need a sample sale girls.
2. Coupons - I love coupons and always google a site I am purchasing from before I order. Sale for my in store purchases.
3. Change Jars - FH and I dump spare change in a jar I call the 'extra wedding decor jar' and he calls the 'next vacation fund'.
4. Cable - We went without cable for 3months and saved $250. (This resulted b/c our cable was not working and I just had it one day and cancelled).
5. Savings Goals. I put a certain amount of every paycheck into savings and work with the rest of my heck.
6. Save for retirement - Max out 401K or at least to the amount your employer matches for!

I love the entertainment books- they have saved me lots of $$
Also go to places to shop (supermarkets) where they give you double coupon $$
Also by in bulk - most cases you'll save $$ doing this - especially for stuff that is non perishable.
